1st Junee Scout group has Cubs (8-11years) and Scouts (11-15 years) and meet weekly in Junee.
Today’s Cubs and Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities and rock climbing!
Scouts also have the opportunity to become involved in:
- leadership development
- community service
- environmental projects
- and large-scale Australian events such as Cuborees and Jamborees.
Our youth led, adult supported approach ensures our youth members are always at the forefront of our program and gives them the platform to take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local community.
Rhythm n Rail have 10 LED Double-Sided A-Frame Display Frames that may be borrowed, free of charge, by Not-for-Profit Community and Sporting Groups based in Junee Shire.
Each kit consists of;
- 1 x 100cm x 53cm Double-side A-Frame Display Frame, with LED Lights
- 1 x 240V Power Adaptor
- 1 x 12V Battery Pack
- 2 x USB Controller (1 kit only has a single controller)
- 1 x Remote Control
- 1 x Power Power cable

- 8 x Thick Fluro Liquid Chalk Pens
- 8 x Thin Fluro Liquid Chalk Pens
The LED lights are around the inner edges of the frames and can be set to a variety of colours and flashing patterns.
The boards can be powered using the included battery pack or direct from mains power using the supplied power adaptor. The boards can be used inside or outside -- as long as they don't get wet.

Broadway Museum is home to the Junee Historical Society and the Junee Visitor Information Centre. The Museum houses exhibits about Junee and surrounding district and holds information about the town and region, as well as hosting regular craft and musical activities.
The Museum itself covers two floors in over 20 rooms as well as large sheds housing historic farm and rail machinery, plus a shady garden and courtyard. Themed rooms include exhibits of railway artifacts, war and military memorabilia, Victorian clothing, vintage toys, furniture, photographs and a complete 1930's style kitchen.
The Dirnaseer Memorial Hall Committee oversees the use and maintenance of the historic Dirnaseer Memorial Hall which was built in 1925 by the soldier settlers of Dirnaseer and lies at the heart of the Dirnaseer farming community.
The Dirnaseer Hall is a NSW Crown Lands owned reserve which is used for community get-togethers including casserole nights and Christmas parties, private events including weddings and birthdays and as a meeting place for farming forums and local non-profit organisations including the Dirnaseer Rural Fire Brigade and local Girl Guides groups.
The Hall is located 37km north of Junee, 28km south-east of Temora and 36km west of Cootamundra.
The Dirnaseer Hall is renown for its old country charm and includes the original large corrugated iron hall with timber floors, the adjoining air-conditioned supper room extension, a large commercial air-conditioned kitchen and an undercover outdoor area and storeroom. The Hall is fully accessible with disability access ramps, disabled toilet and shower, and mens and womens toilets all located inside the Hall.
Surrounding the Hall is a large enclosed grassed area suitable for marquees and outdoor activities and there is ample parking available in the adjoining gravel carpark.
Directly across the road from the Dirnaseer Hall is the non-denominational Dirnaseer Community Church. The small timber church was built in the 1930's and is popular for weddings and christenings and is available for hire through the Dirnaseer Hall Committee.
The Dirnaseer Memorial Hall Committee volunteers organise cleaning and maintenance of the Dirnaseer Hall and Church as required and also plan and host local events for the community.

The Eurongilly District hall has been a gathering point for the Eurongilly community for over 100 years. We are proudly continuing this tradition by working to maintain and restore our much loved hall.
We have active farmers classes, CWA, and regular community events held at the hall.
The space is also available for hire for private functions.

Currently the following are available;
- 10 x 6ft Black, 4-sided tablecloths
- 10 x 6ft White, 4-sided tablecloths
- 10 x 6ft Black, 3-sided tablecloths

The 4-sided tablecloths are ideal for buffet tables and displays that are set in the middle of a room, or when you need hide stock or supplies under the trestle.
The 3-sided tablecloths are ideal for when you have people sitting behind the trestles for registration or ticketing tables; or for market stalls and trade shows when you need ready access to stock and supplies at the back, but a professional covering at the front and sides.
All the tablecloths are designed to fit standard 6ft trestles, like the 6ft Standard Blow Mould Trestle Table that is readily available from Bunnings. Their dimensions are 183cm (L) x 75cm (W) x 73cm (H-Front)

Illabo Motorsport Park, which is located at the Illabo Showgrounds, is a speedway licensed venue through the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation and conducts events on a permit basis issued by the Governing Body Speedway Australia. It is a 390m oval dirt track known as the "SHEATHER CIRCUIT" on which Vintage Speedway Vehicle Demonstration events are held.
With Vintage Speedway events being operated on an event by event basis with a permit, issued by Speedway Australia, being the National Governing body for Australian Speedway.
Manage the facilities at the Illabo Showground
The Illabo Showgrounds are available for bookings for Weddings etc. The hall can cater for up to 250 people with kitchen available
We also have an extensive out door area suitable for large scale horse events or camping with showers and powered sites available
The Junee Broadway Museum houses a collection of memorabilia and information about Junee's history.
We are located in the heritage building that once was the Broadway Hotel built in 1914 of which almost every room is now housing artefacts from Junee and surrounding villages. There is also an extensive range of machinery and equipment which is located in two large sheds and in the grounds of the museum.
Our members are dedicated to preserving the history of Junee and surrounds for visitors and locals to view for many years to come.

Junee Harness Racing conducts approximately 5 meetings a season at the Junee Showgrounds.
The race meetings are supported by the community with many locals participating. It is a great family night and sometimes day out.

The Festival is a community-organised major event which has contributed to the local economy; driving growth, expenditure and showcasing local businesses.
From its inauguration in 2008, the Festival program has grown and so has its attendance from 2,000 to 4,000 in five years and was also the winner of the NSW Inland Tourism Festival Award for 2014.

Junee Uniting Church is a warm and friendly group of people that are committed to serving Jesus in our community.
Our church service at 10:30am enables us to worship, pray, hear God's Word, enjoy fellowship and then morning tea together. Children are catered for in our Sunday for Kids program.
We welcome everyone to be a part of our Monday night Homegroup where we share God's word together and uphold in prayer those in need in our community and church.
Conversational English classes for those who are new to our town and country. Sunday 2:00pm-3:00pm.
We have volunteers from our church teaching Primary and High School Scripture.
Provide Pastoral Care to our church family and the community.
There are many other activities we share in as part of the Combined Churches of Junee.
We want to be lights in our community.
