Driver Reviver Site Upgrades program – Round 1

The Australian Government is investing $8 million over two years through Driver Reviver Site Upgrades to improve amenities at driver reviver locations nation-wide and to support the establishment of new sites.

Round 1 of the Driver Reviver Site Upgrades program will provide $3 million in grants for site owners to purchase mobile variable messaging signage to raise awareness of all active Driver Reviver sites. Round 1 is a demand-driven grant round open to all eligible Driver Reviver site owners.

A second round of the Driver Reviver site upgrades is expected to open in late 2020, with a further $5 million available for broader on-site upgrades, which will prioritise bushfire-affected sites and fitting out new sites to expand the program.

Projects worth between $1,000 and $20,000 will be considered for Round 1.
