- Arts & Culture: $50,000 to $200,000 available per project
- Disaster Readiness & Community Infrastructure: $10,000 to $200,000 available per project
- Sport & Recreation: $100,000 to $300,000 available per project
Infrastructure Grants can be used for costs such as construction, the purchase of capital equipment and professional fees. Examples of projects range from local sports ground facilities, public swimming pools, children’s play areas, museums, art galleries, theatres and upgrades to evacuation centres, or community welfare infrastructure that supports youth, mental health or homelessness services.
As always, we recommend you check out the Past Funding Recipients to see what sort of projects were successful in the past so you can get some ideas and tailor your applications accordingly.
The Community Halls may wish to look at the Disaster Readiness section to get solar panels, battery backups and even water collection tanks. They might also consider the installation of basic AV equipment under the Arts & Culture section.
The SES, VRA, Fire Services and other emergency services can get new equipment or refurbish facilities.
The Showground Societies may be interested in refurbishing kitchens or replacing their pavilions. Or improving Grandstand facilities.
Sporting groups can no doubt come up with many ideas for improving their facilities… even the installation of Shade Sails and seating would be welcomed at various venues.
