Tackling Tough Times Together – Round 20

Grants

Tackling Tough Times Together (TTTT)
Tackling Tough Times Together (TTTT)
The Tackling Tough Times Together grant program is designed to provide flexible funding to support community-based activities in drought-affected regions that both help to relieve current stressors and symptoms, and most importantly, build capacity and resilience for the future.

Grants are available for a broad range of grassroots, community-led initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities and Round 20 is now open for applications.

The TTTT program funds a broad range of initiatives and purposes, including:

  1. Delivering activities, programs and services;
  2. Purchasing or hiring equipment and materials;
  3. Community infrastructure projects;
  4. Art, drama and creative expression projects to assist people to creatively express their experiences, which are otherwise limited due to the drought;
  5. Experiences for school children such as camps that connect young people and provide an opportunity to have fun with other young people off-farm.

Operational and administrative costs associated with your project will be considered. This could include wages, paying a skilled contractor, or paying for overhead costs incurred in the project’s delivery.

NOTE: These initiatives and purposes have been updated since Round 19!

There are Round 20 has TWO funding tiers still open — for projects up to $20,000 and for projects up to $60,000 there is a single stage application process.

Projects in all tiers must clearly demonstrate a focus on one activity from the seven activity areas listed under the Program Objectives.

As always, we strongly recommend you look at the Past Recipients, especially the Inspiration – Past Projects (we really like the Cowell Silo art project), for ideas on projects that could be funded.

Also, make sure you read the Grant Guidelines and supporting documentation before applying.

Note: For organisations based with Junee Shire, if your project aligns with the priorities under Investing in Rural Communities Futures funding, your TTTT application may be referred to the IRCF program instead. But don’t let that deter you from submitting an application under TTTT.
