Australian Sports Foundation looking to hear from Community Sporting Clubs

Polls

The financial impact of COVID-19 is devastating for community sporting clubs. We see this particularly in regional and rural Australia, where many sport clubs rely solely on membership fees and local sponsorships to survive.

The Australian Sports Foundation’s (ASP) is launching a national campaign to help community clubs and organisations access funds to recover, and continue promoting health and well-being in their communities.

ASP’s is now asking community sporting groups to participate in a survey, which can help generate support from philanthropic trusts, private and corporate donors and governments, and distribute cash to clubs in need.

Over 3,600 clubs have already completed the survey, but there are tens-of-thousands more out there who we haven’t heard from and who may miss out on the funding and support we are able to generate. To those involved in community sport across Australia, ASF want to know who you are, hear your story, and go into bat for community sport.

Let’s ensure EVERY Sporting Club in Junee Shire — Adult and Junior, are included!

The survey closes on June 19, 2020.
