Artstate Wagga Wagga 2020 will showcase the rich and diverse cultural identity of the Riverina region of NSW. The Arts Program celebrates the work that always happens here, from the deep cultural connections of the Wiradjuri people, to our established artists and cultural organisations, and to the confidently emerging voices that are shaping our region’s futures.

Artstate is a four-year project by Regional Arts NSW that shines a light on excellence in arts practice in the regions and explores exciting possibilities for arts and cultural development across the state.

From November 5th through to November 8th, Artstate will be hosting an inspiring two-day Speakers Program that explores the themes of Walking Together and Shaping Tomorrow. Accompanying the Speakers Program will be a diverse Arts Program that showcases the work of creatives from across the Riverina region.

Integral to Artstate is a strong focus on Aboriginal arts and arts leaders, as well as the recognition of the contribution of local government to arts and cultural development in regional NSW.

You can sign up to Artstate’s newsletter, and follow them on social media to get the latest news on the program.
